PRINCIPLES

As a private school, Ebenezer Christian School is based upon and operates following the following statements of principles:

  1. The acknowledgment of God as Creator, the Source of all truth, and the Sustainer of all things.
  2. True education has Jesus Christ as the center and depends on the Holy Spirit to illuminate and guide.
  3. The Bible is God’s written word and revelation to mankind.
  4. Education is a Biblically integrated process of developing students spiritually, academically, physically, socially, and emotionally.
  5. Utilizing a traditional approach to education, students gain knowledge and understanding through revelation, reason, experience, and investigation.
  6. Through the cooperative interaction of the home, the church, and the school students cultivate self-discipline enabling them to live as responsible citizens and effective Christians. The role of the Christian faculty is to stimulate learning that will equip students with the tools necessary to internalize learning and encourage students to fulfill their divine destiny.

CONCEPTS

Learning Center is set up according to the School of Tomorrow curriculum which provided a better learning experience for our students. The curriculum focuses on meeting the precise needs of all students.
Academics are extremely important to us here at Ebenezer Christian School, but we also focus on healthy exercise and outdoor activities.
The “philosophy of learning” is the core objective of the School of Tomorrow program, producing the best academic results by implementing the best techniques and procedures for individual learners. Ebenezer Christian School follows the five Laws of Learning – based on biblical principles – which we religiously live by every day:

  1. The pupil is placed on a LEVEL of the curriculum where he can best perform. LEVEL acknowledges that all students are different.…so, in Christ, we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
  2. The pupil sets reasonable and appropriate GOALS to be achieved in a reasonable time. GOALS reflect good judgment.“Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? (Luke 14:28)
  3. The pupils receive MOTIVATION through encouragement and support and achieve CONTROL through guidance and discipline to assimilate, use, and experience the educational material.
  4. MOTIVATION is that inner desire prompted by the concerned supervisor/tutor. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord… (Colossians 3:23)

    5. CONTROL acknowledges the necessity for discipline, guidance, and responsible leadership. Train up a child in the way he should go… (Proverbs 22: 6)

  5. The pupil’s learning must be MEASURED, which relates to accountability. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required…. (Luke 12: 48) The pupil’s learning receives recognition and REWARDS for its efforts and significance… reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)
